It’s safe to say that a lot of us are doing what we can to help our rural communities who are doing it tough in this drought.
The students of Maitland Christian School in the New South Wales Hunter Region have definitely done their bit.
They gathered thousands of litres of water, and a local charity will be trucking it to the North West. So what difference is that water going to make?
The community of Baradine will be one of the communities getting some of the water, and Vice-President of the local CWA Nea Worrell told the ABC’s Fiona Wyllie that she was so thrilled to see the effort of the students.
